Job description

Job Description

This position reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for conducting various financial analysis activities, such as budget variance analysis, capital budgeting, audits, tax, risk management, and cash management. The finance professional will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational excellence to ensure compliance and adherence to good accounting, reporting, and tax practices based on relevant guidelines and regulations. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and process enhancement, working alongside the local finance team, Regional Finance COE, and business stakeholders.

Develop process governance and evaluate finance operations and analysis. Ensure system controls are in place and verify that operations align with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and procedures.

Qualifications
  1. Relevant university degree and professional qualifications (e.g., Tax Brevet, CPA, etc.)
  2. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations, including transfer pricing principles
  3. Over 10 years of finance professional experience, with experience in tax advantageous
  4. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing teams
  5. Proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS
  6. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  7. Good knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Planning Dashboards, and Office applications
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate insights and recommendations
