Job description

Position Overview:

This position reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for conducting financial analysis activities such as budget variance analysis, capital budgeting, audits, tax, risk management, and cash management. The finance professional will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational excellence to ensure compliance and good practice in accounting, reporting, and tax operations based on guidelines and regulations. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and process enhancement, working alongside the local finance team, Regional Finance COE, and business stakeholders.

Develop process governance and evaluate finance operations and analysis. Ensure system controls are in place and verify that operations are aligned with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Relevant university degree and professional qualifications (e.g., Tax Brevet, CPA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations, including transfer pricing principles
  • More than 10 years of finance experience, with tax position experience considered an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing teams
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Planning Dashboards, and Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate insights and recommendations
