Assistant Store Manager – Global Fashion Lifestyle Retail

As part of their continued expansion in Indonesia, they are seeking passionate retail professionals to deliver exceptional in-store experiences that reflect the brand’s commitment to style, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Your Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading the team to deliver exceptional performance and an outstanding customer experience. You’ll be the right hand to store leadership while actively supporting business goals and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee full store operations including team supervision, training, and performance improvement
2. Drive sales motivation and team enthusiasm to help achieve monthly sales targets
3. Monitor and manage stock levels, including stock takes, ordering, storing, and tracking
4. Conduct weekly analysis of sales and inventory; adjust product display based on performance (e.g., bestsellers, slow movers, overstocked items)
5. Handle customer complaints and resolve store-related issues effectively and professionally
6. Collect, monitor, and report market trends and competitor activity to company leadership
7. Execute visual merchandising based on brand guidelines, adapting for local preferences while maintaining global standards
8. Utilize data analysis to extract actionable insights and support decision-making through reports, visuals, and key performance indicators
9. Ensure the implementation of company directives and complete assigned tasks from senior leadership
10. Uphold brand values, store appearance, and customer experience standards at all times
11. Take ownership of store’s business development and meet overall company expectations

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field
2. Retail leadership or customer service experience is highly preferred
3. Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
4. Mandarin proficiency is a plus
5. Willing and able to work on a shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays
6. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
7. Proactive, hands-on leadership style with a passion for fashion and retail
8. Willingness to be placed in Jakarta or BSD, Tangerang
