Get to Know the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager responsible for Grab's OKRs in Balikpapan. You will oversee short- and medium-term strategy formulation, lead various projects from initiation to execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as an internal advisor for city teams. The ideal candidate is proactive beyond BAU activities and possesses strong team management skills. Reporting to the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be based onsite in Grab Balikpapan.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Create insights through data analysis and provide recommendations to enhance Grab's business performance.
2. Monitor city performance regularly, identify issues, and propose action plans.
3. Lead multiple projects end-to-end, from initiation to evaluation.
4. Identify and explore opportunities for process improvements.
5. Prepare management reports.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputable universities.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, project management, or consultancy; experience in digital business is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with tools like SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI.
• Proven ability to persuade and gain support for new ideas.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality.
• Experience managing projects with diverse teams.
• Clear communication skills tailored to varied audiences.
