YOUR MISSION:
- Work with the Head of Merchandising to develop and execute an in-season strategy, building a profitable, balanced, customer-focused product range that aligns with the PUMA Brand Strategy and supports key country strategies.
- Manage in-season trading to ensure efficient inventory management and timely, informed trading decisions communicated to stakeholders.
- Execute seasonal FPS & FOC buying activities.
- Participate in assortment planning based on market, store, and customer profiles; contribute to seasonal kickoff meetings to ensure product relevance and appropriate product mix.
- Assist in the submission of seasonal orders based on data analysis and sell-through rates.
- Review seasonal collection performance versus expectations and analyze consumer buying patterns to forecast future trends.
- Ensure effective and efficient in-season rollout of products.
- Collaborate with VM & Retail Operations to align seasonal rollout with Global/SEA directives.
- Gather feedback from brand ambassadors on the shop floor to enhance pre-season planning.
- Monitor market and competitors to maintain the brand’s competitive position in pricing, product, and technology.
- Ensure timely product launches and assortment plans prior to each season.
- Oversee the timely launch of new stock in responsible stores.
- Execute accurate replenishment strategies and maintain healthy stock levels.
- Manage stock consolidation across stores to reduce slow-moving merchandise.
- Coordinate with the Country Logistic team to plan product ranges, delivery forecasts, and shipment schedules.
- Partner with the Country Planner on weekly/monthly allocation and replenishment plans.
- Set up pricing and promotions in the system.
- Regularly communicate with VM, Retail Ops, and Content teams to align on banners and campaigns.
- Participate in monthly SIC meetings and conduct bi-monthly store visits.
- Share best practices across the territory and ensure consistent implementation.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Country Planner on inventory projections.
- Manage unproductive inventory through creative pricing, clearance, or markdown strategies.
- Plan and strategize for EOSS events and ad hoc promotions to increase sell-through.
- Work with Logistics to ensure merchandise delivery schedules are met.
YOUR TALENT:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years in retail/merchandising within a fashion/branded/FOC retail environment.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
