Job Description
  • Support QC Manager in planning, implementing, and overseeing the factory’s quality control processes.
  • Coordinate daily QC activities across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
  • Supervise QC team members, ensuring adherence to inspection standards and proper reporting.
  • Implement quality standards based on buyer requirements, technical packs, and approved samples.
  • Monitor in-line inspections to detect defects early and prevent bulk quality issues.
  • Oversee end-line inspections to ensure finished garments meet required specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and other customer-specific audit standards.
  • Conduct pre-production meetings with production, IE, and QA teams to highlight key risk points.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for recurring defects and initiate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Facilitate communication between QC inspectors and production supervisors to resolve quality issues quickly.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of defects, inspection reports, and quality data for audits.
  • Coordinate final inspection readiness and liaise with buyer/third-party auditors.
  • Train QC staff on inspection techniques, SOPs, and buyer quality requirements.
  • Work closely with the technical team to address construction, measurement, and finishing concerns.
  • Ensure proper handling of rejections and oversee rework processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defect rates.
  • Maintain quality-related KPIs and report them to the QC Manager and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical manufacturing practices during QC operations.
  • JSS evaluation and coordination with related team.
