Assistant Manager Purchasing and Exim

PT. SHINSUNG AUTOMOTIVE INDONESIA is a manufacturer of automobile sealants. Our major customer is a South Korea-based company, and we have manufacturing units globally, including in India, the USA, Mexico, and Brazil.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma 3 in any major
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and computer literacy

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
2. Create and manage procurement contracts.
3. Evaluate suppliers' capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
4. Maintain and update a supplier database.
5. Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and raw material availability.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
7. Plan and procure materials according to the business plan.
8. Responsible for purchasing monthly/quarterly raw and packing materials, considering supply chain constraints.
9. Analyze quotes before finalizing orders and maintain proper inventory control.
10. Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, invoices, and other order-related concerns to ensure timely delivery.
11. Prepare reports on procurement and payment activities as required.
12. Coordinate with CHA and transporters for timely port clearance, providing necessary documentation.
13. Update import shipment tracking sheets and maintain shipping document knowledge.
14. Forward invoices from CHA and transport to the Accounts department for processing.
15. Prepare MIS and other reports as needed.
16. Maintain purchase records in the system and hard copies.
17. Develop new vendors and evaluate existing vendors.
