Job description

Job Descriptions

  1. Assist in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all revenues and costs incurred are recorded properly, reviewing journal entries, and reconciling account balances (Project Handle).
  2. Oversee daily accounting and tax operations: review taxes (WHT and VAT) calculation and reporting, monitor daily financial transactions recording, and review AR & AP aging (Project Handle).
  3. Assist in enforcing proper accounting methods and policies that comply with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  4. Provide financial data requested for internal management use and/or external auditors.
  5. Assist in finance department projects, i.e., implementation of ERP.
  6. Support finance and accounting with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Job Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the finance/accounting department for a high-growth organization or a start-up company.
  3. In-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance.
  4. Strong MS Office skills (including but not limited to Excel formulas), Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
  5. Well-organized with high attention to detail.
  6. Self-driven, highly motivated, with great communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  7. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Multi-tasking ability and can work independently as well as in a team.
  9. NetSuite knowledge will be advantageous.
