Job description

About the role
Reporting to the Lead HRBP, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join PT Kaia Anugerah Indonesia as an Assistant Manager - HR. In this contract role, you will play a key part in supporting the HR function and contributing to the overall success of the organisation based on site in our plant in Kawasan Industri Cikande, Banten.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation of job offers in accordance with established templates.
  2. Conduct orientation programs on first day of employment as assigned in accordance with corporate training standards.
  3. Assist in reference-checking candidates as required.
  4. Review daily attendance records for absences, tardiness and late clock outs. Follow-up as required.
  5. Monitor absences due to sickness and ensure the necessary support documentation.
  6. Prepare quarterly leave outstanding reports and distribute to Department Heads.
  7. Ensure all leave requests are approved by the proper authority.
  8. Ensure employee status changes are recorded accurately and circulated for required approvals timely prior to processing.
  9. Prepare all attendance summaries for payroll processing.
  10. Counsel employees as required.
  11. Organize employee activities to enhance team spirit and sense of belonging.
  12. Arrange licenses as required.
  13. Liaise with local community.

What we're looking for

  1. S1 in Human Resources, Psychology, Law or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role.
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  4. Good understanding of Indonesian labor laws.
  5. Experience working according to HR best practices.
  6. Experience working in a multi-national environment a plus.
  7. Experience liaising with local community and government officials for support and licensing.
  8. Prepared to work a 6 days working week. (Including Saturday 1/2 day).
