A recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance Accounting Tax specializing in the construction industry, based in Jakarta Utara. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in finance/accounting, with a strong focus on cash flow management and compliance with Indonesian tax laws. The position requires advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting standards. Certification in Brevet A & B is essential.
Our client, specializing in building automation and industrial automation solutions, is currently looking for an Assistant Manager Finance Accounting Tax with strong background in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure accurate, timely preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Validate accounting transactions, ensure supporting documentation, ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. PSAK / IFRS), internal policies.
Manage and monitor cash flow (receivables, payables), cash disbursements, bank reconciliations.
Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns (VAT/PPN, income tax / PPh, withholding taxes, corporate tax, etc.), ensure tax compliance and timely payment.
Coordinate audits: internal and external auditors, provide documents, explanations.
Budgeting and forecasting: prepare budgets, monitor budget vs actual, do variance analysis.
Supervise and mentor accounting / tax / finance staff, ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
Suggest and implement process improvements in financial reporting, accounting & tax processes.
Liaise with other departments (procurement, operations, etc.) to ensure financial alignment.
Possibly handle regulatory / statutory requirements, ensure company meets all legal obligations related to finance/tax.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
Minimum 5-10 years, of which some years in supervisory or managerial roles.
Comes from a MNC’s company (CONSTRUCTION)
Advanced in Excel, SAP systems or equivalent (MYOB, Accurate, ERP Oracle, etc)
Advanced in GL (generally, finance accounting professionals are advanced in GL), AP (Account Payable), AR (Account Receivable)
Experienced of Indonesian tax laws (PPh, PPN, withholding taxes etc.), and accounting standards (PSAK / IFRS).
Certified or familiar with Brevet A & B (tax certification in Indonesia) is required
Good communication skills, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
