As an Assistant Financial Controller at Jimbaran Puri, A Belmond Hotel, you’ll play a key role in the heartbeat of our operations, working alongside a passionate team dedicated to upholding the highest standards in hospitality.

In this role, you will support the Financial Controller in steering the financial performance of the property—ensuring accuracy, integrity, and strategic insight in all financial matters. Your expertise will help shape sound decisions and drive continued success.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee and apply sound financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with accounting principles and organizational standards.
  • Ensure the integrity of internal controls and perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize accounting software and advanced Excel functions to manage financial data efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial departments and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Analyze complex data and provide actionable insights through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stay informed and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws, particularly those impacting the hospitality industry.
  • Lead and support the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
What You Bring:
  • Managerial experience preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end travel.
  • At least 2 years in financial management within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, budgeting processes, and reporting standards.
  • Experience in auditing, cost control, and financial analysis is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel functionalities, including data modeling and financial forecasting.
  • Able to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of hospitality-related financial policies and tax laws.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing internal control systems.
  • Having CPA, ACA or other relevant financial certifications preferred.
  • Fluent in English with strong leadership skills.
  • Indonesian citizen only.
