Job summary

SIRCLO is seeking a Financial Reporting & Analysis professional to verify sales, COGS, and gross margin reporting for internal and external stakeholders. You will prepare MoM, QoQ, and YoY analyses, extending insights from gross margin to cost-to-serve and contribution margin to aid management decisions.

The role involves building brand-level financial overview models, benchmarking profitability across brands, and advocating data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing sales-related reports (sales, COGS, gross margin) for accuracy.
• Ability to analyze MoM, QoQ, YoY statements from gross margin to cost-to-serve and contribution margin.
• Build and analyze financial overview models at brand level to benchmark and inform decisions.
• Familiarity with PSAK/IFRS and regulatory compliance in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet-based financial modeling.
• Experience presenting financial results clearly to management.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Review and validate sales-related reports comprehensively — covering sales, COGS, and gross margin — to ensure accuracy and completeness before use by internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (MoM, QoQ, YoY), extending the analysis from gross margin through to cost-to-serve and contribution margin, to identify trends, anomalies, and insights for management.
• Build and analyze financial overview models — reviewing gross margin and contribution margin at the brand level to assess contribution and cost of doing business, benchmarked against other brands to support decision-making.

Compliance & Governance

• Review and validate financial agreements to ensure alignment with company policy and applicable regulations.
• Review financial statement instruments to ensure compliance with accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
• Maintain compliance of financial statement records with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and fairness of profitability reports, ensuring they are free from bias or material misstatement.
• Maintain compliance of financial agreements with applicable legal and company policy requirements.

Process Improvement

• Implement AI and technology in financial data processes — including the calculation of claim support and marketplace fee data — to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting speed.
• Automate financial report data processing and presentation, including AI-based monitoring, to enable faster and more reliable reporting.

• Familiar with programming software, at minimum: NetSuite and Claude (preferable); similar tools include Jupyter Notebook, ChatGPT/Gemini, and BigQuery
• Have at least 4 years’ experience in basic accounting records at senior consultant level (Big 4 preferable), including at least 1 full year in a senior role
• Demonstrate expertise in financial statement instruments
• Familiar with concepts such as gross profit, contribution margin, EBITDA, and net income
• Able to highlight the importance of financial statement components (e.g. gross profit, contribution margin, EBITDA, net income)
• Demonstrate expertise in Excel and spreadsheets
• Show critical thinking, work in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively
• Able to present and explain the impact of financial reports clearly
