PT BEAN STAR INDONESIA is seeking an Assistant Creative Designer to craft visual assets for social media, campaigns, and presentations. You will adapt materials based on briefs and brand templates, and support production of photos and videos for events and promotions.
The role requires a fresh Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, a portfolio with 5–10 works, and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; Canva is acceptable for day-to-day work.
Create and adapt visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, presentations, and day-to-day marketing needs based on approved briefs and templates.
Assist in designing print and offline materials such as menus, posters, flyers, brochures, signage, tent cards, event materials, and other promotional collateral.
Prepare simple, professional mockups for branding applications, including packaging, merchandise, uniforms, stationery, signage, and in-store materials.
Support photo and video production for social media, events, campaigns, and new-opening activities, including shot preparation and basic on-site assistance.
Edit photos and short-form videos using tools such as Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software when required.
Resize, retouch, and revise existing creative materials while maintaining brand consistency, visual quality, and correct specifications.
Translate straightforward creative briefs into visual outputs and respond constructively to feedback from the Marketing and Creative team.
Organize working files, final artwork, photos, videos, and other creative assets using the team’s file-naming and folder structure.
Manage assigned tasks responsibly and meet agreed deadlines, while communicating early when clarification or support is needed.
Stay aware of relevant social media, design, F&B, and hospitality content trends and share useful references with the team.
Qualifications
Recent Bachelor’s degree graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Film and Television Production, Media Production, Multimedia, or a closely related creative field.
At least one relevant internship, freelance assignment, commercial campus project, or equivalent hands-on experience. This role is not intended for candidates without any practical project experience.
A portfolio is required. It should include 5–10 relevant works, such as social media designs, key visuals, layouts, print materials, mockups, photography, storyboards, or short-form video content.
Able to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or comparable design tools. Familiarity with Canva is acceptable for day-to-day adaptation work.
Basic photo or video editing ability using Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools is an advantage.
Candidates from a film, television, or media production background should demonstrate practical visual-design and content-production ability in their portfolio.
Good understanding of basic layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Detail-oriented, reliable, receptive to feedback, and able to complete straightforward tasks with limited supervision after receiving direction.
Basic working English for reading short briefs, searching references, file naming, and simple written communication. Fluency is not required.
Equipment requirement: Candidates must provide and use their own laptop capable of running the design and basic video-editing software required for the role.
