A leading food service company located in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking an Assistant Channel Manager to monitor sales performance and manage key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Culinary or Hospitality and at least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG. Responsibilities include developing strategies and building relationships with customers to achieve sales objectives.
Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges. Develop and implement corrective actions as needed.
Deliver sales volume forecasting from the area or territory perspective.
Explore potential users to build sales and/or business agreements to achieve established sales and market share targets in the related channel and territory.
Responsible for A&P planning, execution, and monitoring to achieve sales objectives efficiently.
Build and strengthen business relationships with key food service (FS) and industrial customers to ensure distributor delivers in-market sales targets.
Manage key account FS customers by understanding their needs and delivering solutions.
Collaborate with culinary or technical teams to drive product trials and menu applications.
Work with distributor and sub-distributors’ sales teams in Greater Jakarta to ensure execution excellence in distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability, and promotion activities.
Participate in FS projects by actively sharing insights and learning in FS platforms to gain regional perspectives.
Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure campaign execution, product availability, and credit control.
Assist superiors in planning and executing strategies for the food service & industrial channels.
