Volex Finance, a top global firm, seeks an Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree and 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

We are a global leader in integrated manufacturing for performance-critical applications and a supplier of power products. We serve a diverse range of markets and customers, with particular expertise in cable assemblies, higher-level assemblies, data center power and connectivity, electric vehicle charging, and consumer electricals. What you'll be doing
overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc financial analyses
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to provide financial information as required
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
Provide backup support and mentorship to junior members of the finance team
What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field(profesional qualification prefered CPA,CA,USKP,BREVET)
At least 5 years of experience in junior accounting manager role
Strong technical accounting skills, including proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in using accounting software (EPICOR preferred) and Microsoft Office (excel,word..etc)
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry
Fluent in English, and mandarin (advantageous)
