Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking an Asset & System Development Officer to lead the development and governance of asset management data, systems, and standards across the organization. You will ensure data integrity, drive CMMS improvements (Pronto, SAP), and translate maintenance data into actionable insights for reliability and cost efficiency.

You will maintain master data, support maintenance processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise asset performance and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree (S1) in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in related roles.
• Proven experience in Maintenance Management and Work Management Systems.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms (SAP, PRONTO, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Project Management and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication packages to ensure asset management standards are communicated and implemented across Merdeka.
• Maintain master data (equipment hierarchy, failure codes, and maintenance history) in accordance with Merdeka standards.
• Generate and analyse maintenance compliance in accordance with asset management standards.
• Drive system improvement projects to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and support organizational goals.
• Manage and ensure data quality within CMMS (Pronto) by identifying data errors, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining system accuracy.
• Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance information systems to improve data integrity and decision support.
• Analyse maintenance data (work orders, equipment usage, downtime, and costs) to identify trends and insights for improving maintenance processes.
• Support site improvement initiatives to ensure maintenance business processes and role-holder capacity comply with required standards.
