Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and monitor all detail tasks of QA/QC function within project and/or corporate, including vendor and site coordinations and inspections.
- Monitor, review and issue project-specific documentation such as method statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) based on project requirements.
- Ensure project documentations are monitored and reviewed; engineers are well-disciplined.
- Provide quality input and/or problem resolution to discipline engineers during design and procurement phases or construction supervisors during field construction phase. Review and update the quality system.
- Develop, test and qualify the project welding specifications including welders/welding operators qualification.
- Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities (identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including the SHE Management System to ensure effectiveness of programs and compliance with standards and procedures.
- Ensure SHE responsibilities meet the intended outcomes, including targets such as Target Zero LTI and alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP requirements.
Education
Bachelor\'s Degree of Engineering
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Min. 8-11 years of experience as cost controller, scheduler, or project control.
- Knowledge of best practices in Project Administration and strong communication, organizational and management skills.
- Ability to operate computer and other office facilities.
- Determine the requirements for Project Control.
- Ability to work in detail while understanding the “big picture”; analytical thinking and creativity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Fluent in English; both spoken and written is an advantage.
