Job Purpose

The Assembly and Test Supervisor oversees the assembly and testing processes to ensure products meet quality standards and production goals. Responsibilities include managing a team of technicians, coordinating schedules, and ensuring safety compliance. Promotes LEAN Manufacturing through Kaizen/Continuous Improvement activities.

Job Description

• Supervise and manage the assembly and test team for efficient production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
• Monitor output and quality control to ensure specifications are met.
• Train new employees on techniques, safety, and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during assembly and testing.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control departments for seamless production.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed within the assembly area.
• Set objectives, coordinate training, and manage rewards and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Drive the team to meet SQDC objectives through LEAN and process stabilization.

You are meant for this job if:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and efficiency techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team to meet production targets.
