Job summary

UN Women in Jakarta seeks a Partnership Development and Coordination Specialist ASEAN to lead engagement with ASEAN and regional partners. You will coordinate with regional leads, support resource mobilization and ensure alignment of regional and national programmes. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

The role emphasizes gender equality outcomes, collaboration with civil society, and advancing gender-transformative results across ASEAN member states.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, development or gender studies.
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible programme coordination experience.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASEAN engagement strategy and coordination with regional leads and ASEAN partner offices.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with ASEAN bodies, civil society and dialogue partners.
• Coordinate monitoring, reporting and resource mobilization for the ASEAN portfolio.
