Job summary

FWD Group is hiring an IT Senior AS400 Developer/Platform Lead in Jakarta to work closely with business analysts and third parties on designing, coding and developing AS400-based platforms. You will manage platform developers, ensure quality, and coordinate with infrastructure for production deployments.

Required 6+ years in platform development for Insurance, strong AS400 COBOL, Smart400 Life Asia experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, information system or engineering.
• 6+ years of platform development experience in the insurance industry.
• 6 years as AS400 COBOL developer; 5 years as Smart400 Life Asia developer.

Responsibilities

• Create coding guidelines and SDS based on BRS.
• Develop programs per SDS and conduct functional testing.
• Assist Platform Lead in operational management of AS400 developers.
• Ensure quality and governance of work by AS400 developers.
• Coordinate with infrastructure to promote programs to Production.
• Engage with GO Support for development/deployment processes.
