Overview

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to organize, oversee, and expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas. Effective area sales managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for the role.

The goal is to ensure our sales target will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Meeting & exceeding sales targets as assigned.
  • Identifying and acquiring new distributors, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base.
  • Track & report activities of competitors.
  • Develop strong market intelligence and monitor competitor activities on trade channel-related matters and proactively provide feedback to management.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to successful closure.
  • Building strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Build a strong pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting and account planning.
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & services.
  • Prepare regular reports and participate in regular meetings to review performance.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors’ activities and formulating strategies to respond to these.
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years experience as Area Sales Manager (General Trade)/ Branch Manager in FMCG business (preferable from Personal Care/Skin care/Beauty industry).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Having strong database in General Trade
  • Willing to be placed in several areas across the region
  • Able to develop channel sales strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve Monthly Sales Target
  • Willing to travel throughout Indonesia if needed
