About the role

As an Area Operation Manager, you will be an integral part of the Indonesia Region team. Your focus will be on managing supply and handling full operational activities related to driver-partners, including operations monitoring (acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and driver welfare). You will ensure SOP compliance with area regulations and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize driver performance and provide the best experience for drivers.

What you will do

  • Monitor daily operations (2W and 4W), including driver acquisition, engagement (loyalty, retention, safety, performance training), driver exit management, and inventory management (driver attributes and warrants). Also, manage driver income through expense reduction and alternative income initiatives (e.g., Swadaya, Promo Go).
  • Collaborate with the Area Head on escalated issues related to driver services.
  • Work with Sales and Consumer Engagement teams to achieve shared targets at the area level.
  • Coordinate with Public & Government Relations teams and local government agencies (e.g., Dishub) regarding operational matters.
  • Oversee end-to-end processes at the Driver Support Center in the area.
  • Ensure SOP adherence and legal compliance within the area.
  • Manage and evaluate programs aimed at generating high-quality drivers in the region.
  • Support the Regional Operations Head in product rollout and strategic initiatives within the region.

What you will need

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, preferably at a managerial level in a multinational company.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate insights and solve complex problems using tools like BigQuery/SQL and Tableau.
  • Good understanding of supply and demand planning.
  • Experience managing a small team (>3 members).
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and routine activity management.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions for operational issues and empower teams to execute them.
  • Capability to handle community or mass conflict communication.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in spoken and written English.

About the team

The Area Operations Manager (AOM) reports directly to the Area Head and collaborates with the regional operations team on projects. You will lead the Operations team, including Supervisors and staff, in your area. Your role is pivotal in improving drivers' quality of life and ensuring sufficient supply to serve consumers. Managing operations daily will be challenging but fulfilling, as you directly contribute to social impact.
