Job description

We are looking for an experienced Area Operation Manager to organize, oversee, and expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for Central Java Region (Yogyakarta & Semarang).

Effective Area Operation Managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. In this role, effective communication and collaboration with store owners, merchandising teams, and frontliner staff are essential. You'll need to develop strategies that not only enhance product visibility but also contribute to increased sales (Sell-Out) and improve the overall brand image in your designated area.

Job Descriptions:

  • Lead Direct Selling Team (Beauty Advisors/SPG/Merchandisers/Team Leaders) into a clear and efficient sales strategy to boost sales performance and achieve sale out target.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, and forecast trends for each region to tailor effective strategies.
  • Optimize the customer journey within the store, from attracting visitors to completing transactions, increasing income and customer numbers.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to design store layouts and displays that align with trends and store characteristics, attracting more customers.
  • Explore opportunities for partnerships with external parties to maximize sales.
  • Foster positive relationships with Agencies and Distributors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Responsible for the Sell-Out target which refers to the actual sales of products to end customers
  • Developing strategies and initiatives aimed at boosting sales within your area. This could involve pricing strategies, promotions, marketing campaigns, and ensuring that your teams are motivated and equipped to drive sales.
  • Oversee sales operations to maintain operational excellence.
  • Manage the budget allocation for sales operations efficiently to maintain profit margins.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, General Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Operation Manager in FMCG business (preferable from Personal Care/Skin care/Beauty industry).
  • Currently base or willing to be place in Yogyakarta/Semarang.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of the Skincare and Retail Industry.
  • Having strong database in General Trade, Modern Trade and Local Modern Trade. Especially in Central Java Region
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to Develop channel sales strategy
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve Monthly Sales Target
  • Willing to travel throughout Indonesia if needed
