Job Description
Responsible for leading the team in delivering profitable sales within their territory to achieve volume targets, while managing the team’s performance to maximize revenues and profits.
- Clearly communicate current national and local GT Channel Strategies (PICOS, Programs, Focus Products Penetration, etc.) to team members and lead market implementation for excellent market execution.
- Lead and monitor team members' in-market execution activities (merchandising, 10 planned call compliance, POSM placement, price compliance, PICOS), outlets' order generation, and ongoing national/local marketing programs to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
- Ensure all GDM in-field activities are managed appropriately; GDMs are placed in high-potential outlets according to their type and size, ensuring productivity and preventing trade losses.
- Provide clear guidance to team members on identifying market opportunities and potential new outlet openings (high qualified NOD) in line with the business plan.
- Manage team members' relationships with outlets and support them in addressing customer needs and handling issues arising from customer complaints related to business and market issues.
- Maintain relationships and network with key customers and/or wholesalers to optimize market execution and identify opportunities.
- Review existing market and sales conditions based on valid data, identify areas for improvement, implement improvement programs, and evaluate results according to the business action plan.
- Ensure outlets are executed according to their class based on sales volume potential (VPO): Gold, Silver, and Bronze, and optimize outlet performance by delivering appropriate VPO based on outlet class.
- Verify and validate outlet class, channel potential, sales history, or any close outlet requests.
- Take responsibility for providing and managing a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with OHS policies, plans, procedures, induction, training, and work instructions. Undertake hazard management including identification, assessment, and control.
Education Background
Minimum Bachelor Degree in any relevant discipline.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales and at least 2 years in a middle management position.
- Experience in Sales & Customer Relationship Management.
- Proficient in riding motorbikes or cars, holding a valid driver’s license (SIM), and demonstrating safe driving practices.
- Experience in managing teams and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Good ability in data reporting, analyzing, financial and business acumen, including data forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
