Job description

PT. Digiphoto Imaging Indonesia currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to immediately fill positions at our operations in Indonesia as:

AREA MANAGER

Will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple stores/retail counters in allocated areas across Bali which you will visit on a 4-6 week call cycle. Will use leadership and problem-solving skills to manage store/site managers and teams, to grow and develop the stores, team and store performance, as well as driving store operational excellence at all times. Will also drive a very customer centric focus throughout all touch points both in and out of stores. To handle the overall management of one particular area by setting the direction and the pace at which the team moves. Analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to their operations. They are expert trainers who can train other people to become expert trainers. Area Manager is the owner of the business units. They exhibit entrepreneurial thinking and behavior.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma graduate with fluent English communication skill
  2. Having a retail experience minimum 2 years
  3. Having experience in the same role is preferrable
  4. A passion for retail and people management
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills
  6. Strong attention to details and a love of Excel
  7. Ability to work autonomously
  8. Able to show previous experience in growing a retail business and able to explain in detail how you managed to achieve this
  9. A solid leadership style which helps drive and shape the company culture
  10. Self-motivated and driven with a commercial focus
  11. Flexible and adaptable
  12. Good understanding of numbers
  13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  14. An extrovert who does not mind striking up conversations with complete strangers
  15. The ability to impart knowledge and create and train others within the organization

Further responsibilities include:

  1. Being the first point of contact for any opportunities and enquiries across the assigned area.
  2. Engaging with current partners and possible new partner.
  3. Building a plan on how to grow.

Full training will be given to successful applicants however 1 -2 years’ experience within the hospitality and/or retail industry would be desirable.
