About the Job

Multi Bintang Indonesia is hiring for an Area Business Manager based in Bali. This commercial leadership role plays a key part in driving sales performance and execution excellence across the Bali region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the full commercial operations in the area, across all trade channels including Traditional, Modern Trade, and On and Off Premise.

Job Purpose

As Area Business Manager – Bali, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and growing market share in the Bali area by leading the sales team, managing distributors, and executing commercial programs in line with company strategy. You will play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across trade channels. #DoSomethingThatMatters

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage company sales objective in specific area.
  • Identify sales growth and opportunity in specific area.
  • Manage all channel both Traditional (Wholesaler and Retail) and Modern Trade (On Premise like Bar, Hotel, Restaurant, etc).
  • Develop promotion program plan in line with company strategy and budget.
  • Ensure the execution of program plan accordingly by the sales team.
  • Manage, implement & monitor the system, processes, and way of working.
  • Evaluate marketing information and communicate timely to the right channel.
  • Develop initiatives to drive market share and volume growth.
  • Regularly assess distributor performance
  • Take corrective actions in cases of underperformance distributor.
  • Uphold compliance and auditing standards across the area.

Candidate Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a related field.
  • Experience:

Minimum 5 years in sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in FMCG.

Experience handling both On-Premise (e.g., hotels, bars, restaurants) and Traditional Trade.

Strong understanding of distributor/stockist operations.

  • Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written & spoken).

Strong business acumen with a proactive and hands-on approach.

Data-driven with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.

Willing to be placed in Bali.
