Architect for Building – Worship Places and Function Hall

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Create detailed architectural plans and designs.
2. Consult with owners to determine their requirements and goals to ensure perfect execution.
3. Collaborate with working staff, supporting and construction teams. Must be dedicated, hardworking, result-oriented, with a high degree of commitment and integrity.
4. Ensure designs comply with regulations and safety standards.
5. Manage project timelines and budgets as per owner guidelines, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership.
6. Visit the work site at least 80-85% of the time to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications; take corrective actions immediately if needed.
7. Prepare and present project reports and updates to the Board of Directors/owners.
8. Utilize CAD software to develop design plans according to owner specifications and follow drawings in the field/site.
9. Select appropriate materials at competitive prices for construction using the best techniques.
10. Review and approve sub-contractor submissions.
11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

Building Architect Qualifications & Skills

1. S1 in Architecture or a related field.
2. Age between 30-45 years, male or female, with hands-on experience in the field.
3. 5-15 years of experience in building community halls and religious buildings such as temples.
4. Accreditation or certifications in sustainability, such as Ahli Madya Building Construction.
5. Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software.
6. Experience in project management and owner relationships.
7. Strong knowledge of sustainable building practices.
8. Proven track record of successful project completion.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
11. Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
