Required Working Skills/Qualifications/Certification
- Minimum 15 years in a similar position, in an EPC company, Offshore projects; Experience with British Petroleum (BP) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- Expert in Microsoft Office, NAVIS, and AUTOCAD is a plus.
- Communication, flexibility, decision-making, initiative, practical problem-solving, positive attitude, stress resistance.
- Deep knowledge of building execution and internal finishing. Familiarity with auxiliary power building plants, OFFSHORE LIVING QUARTERS & TECHNICAL BUILDING, and PFP (TERMAL, FIRE RATED and ACOUSTIC INSULATION) Installations.
- Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from the conceptual phase up to the site engineering phase.
- Capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work.
- Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering document production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.
- Deep knowledge of key issues related to yard fabrication and erection activities, load-out, sea transport, and offshore installation of jackets, decks, modules, and offshore buildings.
- Capability to write comprehensive technical reports with a clear indication of basic data, assumptions, limitations, references, tracing of calculations, summary, and conclusions.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Prepare design specifications for architectural works for offshore buildings or living quarters.
- Develop the functional architectural layout of buildings based on multi-disciplinary input.
- Prepare material specs and architectural basis of design for buildings.
- Prepare MTOS and BOQS
- Assist the proposal team with requests for quotations for commercial purposes.
- Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted
- Prepare MR & TBE of Architectural for Building
- Review Vendor documents related to Architectural. Control of subcontracted architectural engineering documents inside or outside Saipem group.
- Support Procurement in technical interface with Architectural vendors.
- Actively participation in 3D model review with Client and internally within the SAIPEM group, for clash-free model. Support TM/ PSL during design reviews, 3D Model reviews, Safety Studies, etc.
- Co-ordinate & prepare Technical Query, SDR, COR.
- Support / Technical Interface with the Fabrication team for Architectural outfitting works for Greenfield and Brownfield Buildings.
