About this Position

The Application Engineer Manager is responsible for leading the APC (Consumer Goods) Indonesia Application Engineering team and providing crucial technical support to customers. This includes delivering product recommendations, customized solutions, troubleshooting, and leveraging application equipment to enhance customer processes and identify new business opportunities. The role also involves providing technical training and effective communication with various internal teams.

What you´ll do

1. Manage the APC Indonesia Application Engineering team.
2. Provide product recommendations, develop customized product applications, conduct new product demonstrations, and troubleshoot for customers.
3. Perform technical visits such as meetings, audits, demonstrations, and troubleshooting for customers, documenting activities in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool and the LIM (Laboratory Information Management) system.
4. Work with application equipment to provide solutions that enhance customer-related processes.
5. Utilize customer feedback to optimize customer service and identify new business opportunities for sales colleagues.
6. Conduct product application and technical training, as well as coaching for field sales forces and customers.
7. Communicate directly with sales, marketing, product development, innovation teams, and members of the Application Engineer field team or project teams.
