Job summary

Ericsson Indonesia is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Office and strengthen the ethics, integrity and risk program across Indonesia and the APAC region.

You will lead initiatives across anti-bribery, AML, data privacy, sanctions and trade compliance while coordinating with Finance, Legal, Sourcing and People. The role is hybrid (office-first) in Jakarta, with a strong emphasis on governance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or another relevant discipline.
• 6-10 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, audit, finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in antitrust, competition law, AML, data privacy, sanctions and trade compliance is an advantage.
• High level of integrity and alignment with Ericsson's values.
• Excellent networking and stakeholder management with executive-level contacts.
• Ability to work independently with structured, analytical, goal-oriented approach.
• International experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
• Ability to manage projects across multiple time zones and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive a robust culture of integrity, risk management and compliance, encouraging transparency and responsible speaking-up, and serve as a role model for employees.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Ericsson's ethics and compliance program across assigned legal entities and Customer Units.
• Provide guidance on integrity, risk and compliance to internal stakeholders and engage with external stakeholders including customers and third parties.
• Maintain understanding of local business activities and applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify risks across the ethics and compliance spectrum and develop risk-based mitigation plans.
• Define local/unit compliance priorities and plan annual activities by risk.
• Develop practical solutions to compliance issues with a problem-solving mindset.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, reviews, and monitoring activities.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness programs aligned with global and local requirements.
• Partner on sales and sourcing matters to mitigate potential compliance risks.
• Support Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) processes and act as a key contact.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sourcing, People, customers and third parties to ensure compliant operations.
• Support investigations and manage cases using the compliance case management system.
• Ensure reporting processes for compliance concerns and violations are effective.
• Coordinate with legal teams regarding regulators and authorities; assist with M&A due diligence and integration if required.
• Prepare compliance reports and updates for management and the compliance organization.
