Android Developer for EDC

Design, develop and maintain high quality software for EFTPOS terminals.

Translate designs and functional specification document into high-quality code.

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Investigate and resolve software issues.

Work closely with the Software Testers to isolate, reproduce and resolve defects.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android dev tools & versions.
2. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
3. In-depth knowledge of Kotlin/Java.
4. Prior experience developing apps for EFTPOS devices.
5. Familiar with OOP.
6. Good verbal and communication skills.
7. Quick learner, highly organized and meticulous.
8. Minimum experience of 2 years developing EDC Applications.
