To ensure the compliance of business unit with the requirement of the law, industry codes and standards to minimize Compliance Risk, Legal Risk as well as Reputation Risk through ongoing monitoring and compliance awareness and culture development. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that business functions operate in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and internal standards. The role supports the effective management of Compliance, Legal, and Reputational Risks through proactive regulatory oversight, ongoing monitoring, advisory support, and the promotion of a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Key accountabilities:

• Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Identify, assess, and interpret applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct regulatory gap assessments, monitor implementation of regulatory changes, and perform periodic Compliance Risk Assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Compliance Advisory and Business Support: Provide timely and practical compliance advice to business and support functions. Review business initiatives, projects, products, and operational changes to ensure compliance risks are identified and appropriately managed.
• Group Compliance Governance: Ensure adherence to Group Compliance policies, frameworks, and reporting requirements while supporting the achievement of business objectives. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of Group Compliance initiatives within the local business.
• Compliance Culture and Awareness: Drive a strong culture of integrity and compliance through awareness programs, training initiatives, and the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Regulatory and Management Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance-related reports to regulators, management, and Group stakeholders in accordance with applicable requirements. Manage regulatory correspondence and maintain effective relationships with regulators and other relevant external stakeholders.
