Job Description

  • Act as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Coordinate airfreight & seafreight shipments, including booking, tracking, and preparing required documentation.
  • Work closely with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Proactively identify and resolve shipping issues, providing updates to customers regarding delays or changes.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents to meet international regulations and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Partner with internal teams, such as operations and sales, to provide a seamless customer experience and improve processes.
  • Track service metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to developing operational enhancements to increase efficiency and service quality.

The Successful Applicant

  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service for air and ocean freight or freight forwarding.
  • In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding operations, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using freight forwarding software, particularly CargoWise, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
