The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing an array of Accounts Payable duties. This position requires the incumbent to be detail-oriented and well organized in order to make sure the process operates smoothly, accurately, and effectively. The position will collect, verify and prioritize invoices in order to make payments in an efficient and timely manner, code and process invoices conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the Bank's financial system, and code billing expenses using appropriate general ledger account number, cost center or market.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of educational experience in basic accounting, business, or technology is required.
  • A minimum of three years of job-related experience in basic accounting, business, or technology is required.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

LOCATION

  • Statewide, at any of our Arkansas locations. This position is on site and not eligible for remote work.
