The opportunity:

Accounts Payable Accountant (1-Year Contract)

As an Accounts Payable Accountant within our team, you will report to the Accounts Payable Manager for Shared Services, and support the ongoing transfer of knowledge and work from our locally based finance teams to the regional shared services hub. You will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the ongoing financial operations and will be expected to take complete ownership of your areas of focus.

1. Taking responsibility for accounts payable tasks with efficiency and accuracy, including vendor invoice processing for a high volume of invoices and disbursements, vendor communication, internal control monitoring, developing and maintaining high quality and efficiency.
2. Ensuring proper controls on disbursements and electronic payments.
3. Achieving required deadlines for monthly, quarterly, half-year and year-end close.

We would love to hear from you if you are/have...

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
2. At least 3 years in an accounting function.
3. Large ERP AP System experience, SAP preferred.
4. Fluent in English, experience working or studying in an English language environment is sufficient.
5. Good communicator and able to build effective relationships with the team and vendors.
6. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and is solution-oriented.
