Our client in the energy industry is currently looking for an Accounting and Tax Specialist. This position will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and optimizing financial strategy for the energy company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supporting in preparing financial statements
2. Overseeing tax-related matters for the company, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws
3. Managing payment transactions and overseeing bank account operations
4. Providing accounting and tax insights
5. Acting as a liaison between lenders, project companies, and Tokyo headquarters on financial and tax matters
6. Coordinating with third-party consultants to ensure compliance aligns with organizational and local standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Min. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
2. Min. 7 years of work experience in accounting or related tasks
3. Experience in the energy/power plant industry
4. Understanding of accounting standards
5. Able to speak English for business
