Accounting & Tax Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a plastic manufacturing company with an excellent international track record based in West Java.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee and ensure the proper execution of General Accounting procedures, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial statements, analyses, and reports.
2. Review the administration of accounts such as Receivables, Inventories, Prepaid and Accrued Expenses, Fixed Assets, and Payables to confirm accurate postings.
3. Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports on a monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis, including settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
4. Lead the implementation of Cost Accounting processes and annual procedures to produce detailed cost analysis reports and provide recommendations for decision-making.
5. Handle the preparation and calculation of the annual budget.
6. Oversee and validate Corporate Tax-related transactions and postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
7. Establish a systematic filing system for accounting documentation and electronic data processing, ensuring easy traceability and efficient access to information or documents.
8. Coordinate and support Financial and Tax Audit activities, ensuring compliance with government regulations and PSAK guidelines.
9. Assist the Section Manager in compiling the consolidated reporting package for the company, ensuring precision and timeliness.
10. Continuously improve financial procedures and activities for optimal performance.

Job Requirements

1. Holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
2. Background in Plastic or Chemical Manufacturing.
3. At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in Accounting & Tax.
4. Experience in SAP is mandatory.
5. Fluent in English communication skills.
6. Key skills include SAP proficiency, forecasting and budgeting, cost/variance analysis, SOP review, and holding a brevet certification.
