Job summary

PT. Stellaris Technology Indonesia is seeking an Accounting Staff with full-set accounting experience to join our team. This role reports to an overseas Finance Manager based in Singapore and requires diligent, independent work.

You will manage the full set of accounts, close month- and year-end, prepare monthly reports, support the Finance Assistant, ensure tax compliance, and drive process improvements. English proficiency and experience with Accurate are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Experience with Accurate accounting software is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume data accurately.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in the e-commerce industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full set of accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings in accordance with the timeline set by HQ.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, including basic variance analysis and explanations for the Finance Manager's review.
• Guiding and supporting the Finance Assistant in daily accounting tasks.
• Assisting with the payment process in the absence of the Finance Assistant.
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, including corporate income tax, VAT, import tax, withholding tax, annual audits, and other regulatory obligations.
• Coordinating with external tax consultants to ensure the timely filing of all tax requirements.
• Driving continuous improvements in accounting processes and internal controls to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
• Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.
