Job Description

• Assist in monitoring and tracking construction costs, including materials, labour, and other project expenses, ensuring they align with the project budget.
• Process and verify invoices from contractors, suppliers, and vendors ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Record financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring all entries are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with local regulations
• Help reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports on project costs and expenditures
• Maintain organised and accurate financial records, ensuring that all construction-related documents, contracts, and receipts are properly filed and easily accessible.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years experience in a role that includes the use of accounting software, financial modelling and analysis and/or financial control
• Experience with online accounting systems
