A leading consultancy firm is looking for a Financial Accounting Supervisor. This role involves supervising financial accounting functions, ensuring proper recognition of transactions, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 3 years of experience, and proficiency in business-level English.
To prepare and carry out all related functions in respect of financial accounting, including but not limited to the preparation and production of financial statements and its relevant analysis, in accordance to applicable standards, policies and regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Supervise the daily operation of financial accounting functions, including but not limited to invoicing, collection, disbursement, and settlement.
2. Supervise both internal and external coordination and correspondences relating to the process and procedures of financial accounting functions.
3. Review and validate all relevant underlying documents of financial accounting transactions prepared and/or made by the subordinates.
4. Review all journal entries made by subordinates to ensure proper recognition of financial transactions.
5. Review, maintain, and validate all relevant working papers of the financial statements (listing, schedules, and reconciliations).
6. Prepare and responsible for the month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. Prepare all adjustment journals (if necessary) for the month-end and year-end-closing purposes.
8. Produce, review, and report the monthly and annual financial statements and its performance analysis.
9. Supervise the administration of all financial accounting documentations and filing processes.
10. Assist with audit preparation for the full set accounts of the financial statements.
11. Developed and maintained divisional improvement systems (job duties, SOPs, KPIs, appraisal).
12. Support the subordinates by providing effective coaching, training, and counseling, to advance employee engagement and to develop a high performing management team.
13. Maintain good relationships with external parties on reporting requirements and compliance.
14. Other ad-hoc assignments by the Superior or Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Maximum of 30 years old.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting major.
Minimum of 3 years progressive working experience in the related field (ex. Auditor is preferable).
Minimum of business level English conversant.
Having good knowledge of related financial accounting principles (local GAAP).
Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office package.
Analytical thinking and attention to details.
Proactive, initiative, and communicative person.
