Job Description

As an 'Accounting Manager,' your main responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing supervision and mentorship.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP/IFRS).
• Prepare consolidated reports, including intercompany eliminations.
• Manage the consolidation process for multiple retail entities.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis

The Successful Applicant

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or similar
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent leadership skills
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office Suite
