Our client is a tropical beach boutique resort and restaurant on the most beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia. They are currently seeking an experienced accountant or Accounting Manager to support their small to mid-sized business operations (50 - 75 employees), with a strong background in hospitality sector to manage the payroll system, tax reporting, profit and loss management, and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or within accounting department, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, Indonesian tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in preparing Profit & Loss statements and performing bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with local accounting standards and systems for small and medium sized business.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial data management.
• Able to work independently with integrity and confidentiality.
• Remote work experience for a similar project or business is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Prepare and submit accurate tax reports (monthly and yearly) in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
• Compile and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for management decision-making.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
• Maintain updated and organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial procedures.
