A growing finance company in Ubud is looking for a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee all financial operations. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, strong technical skills, particularly in Indonesian tax compliance, and proficiency with accounting software. We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our financial operations. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting skills who is also confident in managing tax compliance directly with the Indonesian Tax Office (DJP). You will play a key role in ensuring financial records are accurate, compliant, and supportive of the company’s growth.
Prepare, review, and record financial transactions in line with accounting standards.
Record and manage all journal entries using the company’s integrated ERP accounting system, ensuring accurate and real-time tracking of financial data.
Maintain and update general journal, general ledger, and financial statements (monthly & yearly).
Manage supplier invoices, payments, and petty cash reports.
Handle expense reports, reimbursement, and payroll reporting.
Perform reconciliation for bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Monitor cash inflows and outflows in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, on time, and in line with company policies.
Tax & Compliance
Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax reports (VAT, PPh, and other applicable taxes).
Liaise directly with the Indonesian Tax Office (DJP) to ensure compliance.
Stay up to date with Indonesian tax regulations and implement changes as required.
Reporting & Analysis
Consolidate financial reports across multiple outlets/entities into clear group-level statements.
Provide financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) withanalysis for management decision-making.
Organize and maintain financial records systematically for easy retrieval and reference.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Brevet A/B certification required (demonstrated knowledge of Indonesian taxation).
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to both bookkeeping and tax reporting.
Experience preparing and submitting tax filings directly to the DJP preferred.
Proven experience in multiple-entity consolidation.
Familiarity with ERP systems that include accounting modules.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
