Overview

Job Purpose

Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.The Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role involves strategic collaboration, technical accounting expertise, and process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processe
  • Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee the general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Review financial reports and variance analyses
  • Supervise and guide the accounting team
  • Collaborate with FP&A, auditors, and other departments
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements as well as Group reporting
  • Maintain and strengthen of internal control framework
  • Provide input for systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and errors.
  • Engage in ERP implementation
  • Actively support continuous improvement and any ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in team management and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
