About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Finance Tax Manager to join the team at PT. JADE SANTOSA DEVELOPMENTS' in Surabaya, East Java. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting, finance, and tax functions, playing a crucial role in supporting the overall business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Manage all accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws, and manage tax planning and filing requirements
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to the leadership team
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Collaborate with the broader finance and operations teams to support strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings to enhance the company's financial performance
• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a similar accounting, finance, or tax management role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and accounting systems
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial software, with the ability to analyse and present complex financial information
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
