Job description

To prepare and control account statement reconciliations, account receivable and transactions.

Collects accounts by contacting customers, making regular reminders, investigating circumstances of non-payment, negotiating and resolving conflicts, expediting payment.

Updates receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions, controlling terms/parts of project revenue (down payment, progress payment, and completion payment).

Maintains financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.

Maintains accounting ledgers by posting daily account transactions.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements; investing excess funds.

Supports annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.

B. Related to A/P

Ensure the smooth running of invoice processing and payment in a timely manner.

Check invoices prior to processing to ensure proper matching of purchasing and receiving documents, and proper distribution to general ledger expense accounts.

Perform the month-end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers.

Maintain working relationships with external suppliers.

Reply to all queries in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently.

Provide monthly reports.

C. Related to tax

Prepare monthly and yearly calculations for company tax planning.

Manage payment process and monthly tax compliance for articles 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 4(2), VAT returns and report to the tax office including monthly and yearly reconciliation compared to the general ledger and yearly tax compliance for corporate and income tax 1771, 1721, and 1770.

Handle taxation matters related to company business such as tax objections and tax appeals if necessary.

Implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.

D. Others

Assist the manager with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.

Carry out any other duties that may be required from time to time by the manager.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics.

At least 6 months of experience in the same position, preferably in a multinational company.

Technical skills in Accounting: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Good knowledge of tax for articles 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 4(2), VAT returns.

Experience in handling Petty Cash and KPPK report to Bank Indonesia.

Knowledge of applicable Indonesian and International Accounting standards (IFRS, PSAK) and Transfer Pricing is a plus.

Experience in using Accurate system is a plus.

Knowledge in Quality Management System / ISO 9001:2015 Certification is a plus.

Good analytical and reconciling skills.

Good teamwork player, strong integrity, and professionalism.

Good documentation management.

Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
