Accounting & Finance Manager - IT Consulting

Job Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing accurate financial reports from various finance aspects (accounting, tax, treasury) to management and ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, and the company's objectives and strategies aligned with the overall business goals.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the full spectrum of financial activities such as financial reporting, monitoring and reviewing AP/AR, annual budgeting, cash flow management, financial audits, credit limits, risk management, and tax compliance.
2. Ensure the financial closing process is completed according to the scheduled timeline.
3. Analyze financial reports and present findings to management on a monthly basis.
4. Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting (monthly and annual reports).
5. Handle annual financial and tax audits, ensuring no audit adjustments.
6. Review new regulations related to finance.
7. Coordinate tax audits and minimize tax adjustments through proper documentation and negotiations with tax authorities.
8. Make strategic decisions regarding investments, mergers, alliances, and divestments.
9. Plan and execute strategic mid-term and long-term plans for the company's growth.
10. Lead departments and motivate team members to maximize their skills and contributions.

Requirements:

1. Male or Female, maximum age 46 years.
2. Graduated in Accounting or Business Management with CA Certification from a reputable university.
3. Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in accounting & finance, preferably in a Japanese company.
4. Strong understanding of regulations related to accounting, finance, and taxation.
5. Preferably holds a Tax Certificate (Brevet).
6. Proficient in accounting systems such as SAGE or AccPac.
7. Ability to collaborate across all levels of the company.
8. Good conduct, communication, and interpersonal skills.
9. Problem-solving, decision-making skills, and ability to manage conflicts or crises effectively.
10. Fluent in written and spoken English.
