About the role

KJA Optima Solution is seeking an Accounting and Tax Associate to join our team in Surabaya, East Java. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and tax services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for clients

Conducting tax planning and compliance activities to ensure clients meet all tax obligations

Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial and tax needs

Providing recommendations and strategies to optimize clients' financial and tax positions

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations and best practices

Supporting the Accounting and Tax team with ad-hoc projects and requests

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax roles, preferably in a professional services environment

Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in using accounting software and tax preparation tools

Strong communication and client service skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
