To ensure the maintenance of daily banking activities and reconciliations and the availability of cash to sections of the Department.
Maintain Accounting Petty Cash, its reconciliations and its replenishments to ensure that there are sufficient balances to support the needs of the company.
Review other department Petty Cash and assist their custodian, its reconciliations and its replenishments to ensure that there are sufficient balances to support other department needs and conduct the internal audit periodically.
Maintain record of cash advances and expense claims made through Petty Cash.
Assist in monitoring the company’s bank account balances every day to ensure that there are sufficient funds to support the needs of the company.
Assist in maintaining daily cash balances by inputting data into the Cash Management system.
Ensure the accuracy of banking data entered to the database and revise inaccurate entries.
Collate cash calls from Accounts Payable, Taxation, Payroll Sections and Compliance (for PBB, Deadrent and Royalties) and make necessary funding based on the cash calls to ensure the cash availability for payment.
Prepare wire instructions for onshore and offshore banking operations.
Maintain checks on daily banking transactions and payments made by Accounts Payable/Tax/Payroll sections.
Monitor offshore checks collection from employees or suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements received for all of the company’s bank accounts excluding payroll accounts.
Maintain hardcopy records of all banking correspondence and transaction details.
Perform all banking transactions using the company’s banking system.
Work with the Department’s internal and external clients.
Prepare payment instruction letter for all AP manual payment and other.
Liaison with A/P section during AP check run process to smooth the payment process and for all transfer problems such as fund rejections.
Prepare all banking reports for external use such as Foreign Exchange Monitoring Report, Bank Indonesia Offshore Loan Report, and Bank Indonesia Onshore/Offshore Transaction Report.
Assist the Supervisor in month-end closing.
Maintain “Supplier Maintenance” data and its correspondences with ordering parties (Purchasing/Contract/AP) to ensure the correctness of the data, including archiving and un-archiving of supplier files.
Maintain proper banking filing.
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
Have minimum 3 years of experience in similar role in banking & treasury or accounting.
Have basic accounting standard knowledge.
Preferred experience in corporate banking procedures and banking online system.
Intermediate spoken & written English language skills and computer literate. Competent in the use of MS Office program and able to use SAP as ERP tools.
Able to work independently, in team works and meet deadlines; honest, accurate, diligent, tenacious, and have a good attitude.
Require to work on a Site and willing to live at Site.
