Terra Water Indonesia seeks a detail-oriented Entry to Mid-Level Accountant to support their finance department. This full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 3-5 years of experience. The role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulations, all while contributing to the company's mission of improving access to clean water across communities.
Position Type: Full-time. This is a management-level position reporting directly to the Director, so a high level of professionalism is required as well as some degree of flexibility for attending meetings or events after hours including nights and weekends with or in place of the Director.
Position Location and Office Hours: Terra HQ, Jl. Gunung Catur No.12 Denpasar Barat, Bali 80118. Office hours are between 9 am – 5 pm, however, there are often responsibilities after hours and there will be some domestic travel required.

About the Job
Terra Water Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Entry to Mid-Level Accountant to play a vital role in our finance department. Reporting to the Director, the Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, maintaining general ledger accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Generate monthly financial reports and collaborate with tax consultants on tax report preparation.
Produce monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets, and weekly account reports
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and product pricing spreadsheets so they are up-to-date at all times. There should be no longer than a half day turnaround on the spreadsheets for any product or supplier pricing updates.
Partner with sales and logistics on Sales Orders and Invoices. During weekdays manage the sales team to ensure SO’s are done within 30 minutes of a request and are correct.
Summarize and distribute weekly reports on pending Sales Order invoices, collaborating with the sales team to ensure timely payments.
Manage and update the daily petty cash report.
Generate weekly current account reports from Mekari Jurnal.
Coordinate with logistics for pre-order products, ensuring timely supplier payments.
Perform monthly reconciliations for distributors.
Develop and maintain department budgets monthly and as required
Perform other accounting duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports and budget analysis.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
Develop and ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Proactively send monday outstanding SO reminders to the team and support the sales team in closing accounts
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software especially Mekari Jurnal, Google Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Xero is a bonus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactivity is essential. This position will be rated based on knowledge of accounting and whether or not he/she has to be reminded to do the work stated above.
